A song for Chit, lyrics are based around a poem I wrote for Andy’s eulogy.

Its about our connection to place/landscape and to each other. Where we come from, the fire connects us, gives us light and protects us but also burns and takes away.

The fire also helps us to remember and realise that nothing is forever, we will join our brother one day. Stand or fall is a line taken from ‘Sussex by the Sea’ the anthem of Sussex and the Royal Sussex Regiment, ‘brothers in arms’ who fought in the two world wars. ‘You can tell them all that we stand or fall for old Sussex by the Sea’.
